And the staff super nice and professional. Super clean. Air condition. Even the carpet was soft to walk on, almost like a mattress.

Situated in Porto’s Ribeira district, this 4-star hotel is situated in a refurbished, historic building overlooking the Douro River. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Great location near river. Walking distance to a lot in the area including walking the bridge to Guia. Staff was friendly and recommended best place to park when asked. I would recommend staying here.

Located in the historical Ribeira area, downtown Porto, Porto River is an aparthotel that offers carefully decorated apartments just a 10-minute walk from the Port Wine Cellars across the Luis I... My teen son, husband and I had a wonderful stay at Porto River Apartments. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. It was immaculately clean and comfortable, and very well appointed. Great care and imagination have been put into the guest experience and we enjoyed a whole week there very happily. The hotel even catered for my gluten-free, vegetarian diet at breakfast, which was most appreciated (tasty GF bread, omelettes). Special shout-out for the housekeeping, which was top-notch.

Jose & Catarina were very helpful. Nice gesture for the Portuguese tarts & bot of Port. They were quick to provide an adaptor which we forgot to pack. Love that extra coffee capsules provided for upon request. Location wise 👍 perfect, places of interest within walking distance. Supermarket & nearby cafes so convenient.

The room is freshly renovated, there is a mini kitchen in the room. Room is big. There is an elevator in the building.

The place was charming and literally footsteps away from one of the most beautiful and interesting sections of town. Big comfortable bed. Spacious and modern bathroom. It was a very good choice, which I made quite randomly. The hotel has a virtual reception, which is probably a sign of things to come. I am pretty "old school" with hotels, so this worried me when I first confronted a dial-up connection and a person on a flat screen, but it all worked.
