The Hotel Exmo was recommended by our cousin and we couldn’t be more pleased! The hotel is well situated to the waterfront and the older section of the city making it very walkable. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, assisting with a tour to the Douro Valley (do it!) and helping with train reservations. We highly recommend Exmo!

The location and hotel were excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. This hotel is right on the river front with some rooms having a river view, next to lots of bar,s and restaurants.

Situated in Porto’s Ribeira district, this 4-star hotel is situated in a refurbished, historic building overlooking the Douro River. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Excellent stay! Great location, walking distance for many atractions! Good restaurants and bars near by! The staff was great, very polite and kind always willing to help. Our room was great ,very clean, quiet and cozy! We had a room with a river view. We will choose this hotel again. Great recommendation!

Great location; spacious, comfortable rooms; mine had a view of the river; many amsittungbareaa throughout the property to relax with a drink or enjoy the view it both; excellent and attentive staff; breakfast was diverse with lots of local items; something for everyone.
