Location is near to metro station Avenida, near to everything, the staff is extra kind and lovely, breakfast is until 11:30 (big pro if you like to sleep more), clean rooms, very cozy interior. They upgraded our room at check-in after seeing on my ID that I will celebrate my birthday in 2 days. We got the Junior suite with a bathtub in the room, on the day they also surpised us with a bottle of champagne. Hospitality on top!

The 5-star 138 Liberdade Hotel has a décor with contemporary art pieces, along with vintage details. We have stayed at the hotel two times, and we rate the whole stay 10/10. Perfect location. The staff was very service minded. Very good breakfast. The food at the hotel is of high quality. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel. Love the sushi at the hotel. So fresh, so good and so nicely made. We had sushi tasting menu and it was beyond all expectations. If you have not tried the sushi menu, you need to try it because it is so worth it. We will be back soon.

The hotel scores with its beautiful interior and attention to detail. The location is also fantastic: there is a subway station ("Avenida") located 2 minutes from the hotel, and the Barrio Alto and the city center are within walking distance. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. The cherry on the cake was the wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Muito obrigado!
