This place is an absolute Gem, especially if you love peace and quiet. Being a digital nomad, I really need my space, and this absolutely beautifully renovated six-bedroom colonial house, transformed into an oasis, is exactly what I crave. And people have commented on the Wi-Fi, but I can manage. While there are drop-outs, the speed is good, and I can assure you after five visits to this country, this is Sri Lanka, and not the the fault of this premises. Perfectly imperfect, don't expect the sterile surroundings of the five star hotels, but do expect cleanliness, spectacular food, friendly staff, and peace and quiet for when you've explored the colourful market hustle and bustle of Colombo and need some peace. If you want to go out to a restaurant or to party, everything is within a ten-minute tuk tuk ride away, and they are easily found on the corner of the street. All the staff are attentive yet hands-off, and give you a feeling of family. All foodies want to explore the street food, and what Sri Lankans' eat. Hot tip: in the morning, forgo one breakfast. Exit the hotel and turn left. At the end of the street, turn left again, and the first shop you come to on the left will be a little food shop with Sri Lankan delights, where all the locals eat - it's a must, and delicious! A combination of delights will set you back about one US dollar! Other than that, eat the curries at home - they have a new chef, so any older posts are wrong about the food. Dive into this experience, and leave those hotel chains - you won't regret it! I stayed for three nights, then they drove me to Galle at a fair price, and after Galle, I decided to come back, so they drove down and picked me up, and now I'm back!

The owner was amazing from the moment we took the flight till the second we arrived he was in touch and spoke with the drivers and stuff to make sure we get there safely, the restaurant in the place is amazing and the dishes are huge! Really huge good for 2 persons and the prices are good, he took us to see some places in the city and summing up made a great experience for us in there

Location was great. Very convenient. Its in close proximity to city center and night attractions. The balcony offered an amazing view of the Colombo cityscape. The facilities are good. They had a kitchen and a lovely living area. They have one parking slot in the 1st floor. For people looking to make a meal, they have a cargills food city express mart in the ground floor. The hosts also own a restaurant 'Gentz' that's walking distance from the apartment complex. We were able to get foods delivered to our doorstep. Food was superb. Recommend trying the menu out. Lastly, many thanks to Gihan who coordinated our stay. Very co-operative and friendly.

The apartment was compact, clean and had all facilities. The small supermarket right below was very helpful. Tuk tuk was easily available anytime. Nice swimming pool accessible everyday. Would certainly recommend for a stay .
