In a prime location in the Aoi Ward district of Shizuoka, HOTEL OLE INN is located 19 km from Rengejiike Park Fuji Festival, less than 1 km from Shizuoka Station and 12 km from Shimizu Station. Quiet location at the end of the row of shops but within walking distance to the train station and shopping area. Complimentary parking for hotel guests with ample parking across the the street with an outdoor and elevator parking system. Amazing breakfast spread with many choices to choose from and children’s cutlery provided. There is also a limited amount of curry rice at the lounge in the evenings. Indoor and outdoor Natural Onsen on the top floor with a coin laundry room and vending machines. The tv in the room has information on the congestion situation at the onsen. There is also a pillow room on certain floors with different types of pillows you can choose from. Rooms are spacious and guests are given a nice toiletry pouch that you can bring back. Two sets of lounge wear and 2 sets of towels are provided. One of the better types of hair dryer provided by a hotel. Overall the attention to detail and facilities provided makes it a great place to stay. Will definitely choose to stay here again if we’re in Shizuoka again.

Good location since it's adjacent to Shizuoka Station. Great for shopping and food as they are all in close proximity.

You can tell immediately that it is a brand-new hotel. It has a public bath available if you fancy that. On the same floor, a resting area with recliners is located, where you can spend some time relaxing after the bath waiting for your partner. Minor detail: the room key has a wooden design, which is a fantastic touch to the overall nature theme of the hotel. The breakfast hall is vast and is open outside the breakfast hours (breakfast contains local dishes, and I highly recommend trying it). There, you can enjoy a working space + free coffee and tea. We also got some discounts for restaurants around the hotel, and we used this option for dinner. The street the hotel is located on is very picturesque, and we also enjoyed strolls in the neighborhood. The castle is within walking distance, as well as some shrines.

Well situated in the Aoi Ward district of Shizuoka, APA Hotel Shizuoka-eki Kita is located 800 metres from Shizuoka Station, 12 km from Shimizu Station and 200 metres from Hodai-in Temple. Very clean, lovely staff who were polite. The bed was very comfy, the comfiest bed I’ve stayed in during my 4 months in Japan. A 5-10 minute walk from the train station. Lovely reception interior. Bed says “single” but actually almost a double. Would stay again
