Giappo Franca is on a quiet road and still close to everything. When I arrived, the staff were extremely helpful and explained everything I might need to know. Sylvia told me about an art show the hotel was hosting and explained the artist's series of the places in Japan from Tokyo to Kyoto. Very cool indeed. My room was spacious, clean and covered in tatami mats and it even smelled good. I had a Japanese bed and there were instructions on how to use a futon. The bathroom had a nice Japanese bath and nice soaps and shampoo available. There was even a cute little outdoor sitting area outside my room. I had an early flight out of Kansai International Airport and the staff could not have been more helpful in assisting me in finding the best way to get there. Yuki san and Tadashi san are very accommodating, and super nice. Tadashi san even went to a nearby event at the same time as us and was sweet enough to translate for us when we didn't understand directions. The facilities are very nice and very good value for money. The hosts also have very thorough and in my opinion very good advice for local hikes/attractions and restaurants! And the view of the temple from the western style room is phenomenal.

El Hotel está muy bien, las habitaciones muy amplias y limpias. Sin duda un hotel que supera las expectativas en el hospedaje. El staf siempre trata de ayudarte y son muy amables aún cuando la mayoría no habla inglés 😅 Me encanta que tiene un onsen en el baño que después de un día caminando te ayuda a relajarte, La ubicación es buena pero no está cerca del metro.

The staff was the kindest and most welcoming I've met. They were also enthusiastic and got happy when they did a good job and saw us satisfied.
