We loved our stay at Gion Elite Terrace. It's perfectly located within walking distance from the train station, restaurants, bars and many of the sites we wanted to visit in Kyoto. It's located on a quite and quaint street. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the coffee bar in the lobby. The staff helped us with restaurant recommendations and reservations. I also love that they are an eco-friendly hotel. I will recommend this hotel to all of our friends planning to visit Kyoto.

We really loved stay at this hotel, we are family with kids, all of the staff is kindly and they let us have an early check in, because we have a kids and we like to have an early check in during our early arrival using local bus from Tokyo to kyoto. We are grateful for it. Also the location is great for us, near to bus station, and family mart. And several restaurant and Bakery. We loved the washing machine inside the room (we could wash our dirty clothes) with the microwave and also have a bathup 🤭.

They were extremely helpful in assisting us with shipping our luggage to our next hotel in Tokyo. + beautiful common areas. You can see that the place has just been renovated and that they wanted to convey the atmosphere of Kyoto in every detail. It was a really pleasant stay.

Everything! The reception staff welcomed us warmly, we also reserved japanese breakfast and we’re muslims so they were very cooperative and they had the best japanese breakfast we had in japan. The location is perfect as it is a walking distance from higashiyama. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone coming to kyoto
