The resort was a traditional ryokan with modern comforts and amenities, set just away enough to be peaceful and quiet at night. It was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the onsens - there was an indoor and outdoor onsen, as well as private baths available. Drinks, ice cream and even ramen are available for free. The traditional Japanese breakfast was quite an experience as well. We were there over Christmas and they had small seasonal activities and treats in the lobby.

Even though had informed them no room service is required during our short stay. But when placed in request to clear the rubbish bin only, they made an effort to check via message to verify ok to enter and even clean up the room.
