Do not let the old elevator in the entrance scare you, this hotel is absolutely amazing. Beautiful decoration, modern instalations, great hot shower, comfy beds, powerful AC, high quality ammenities. The location could not be better: 3 minute walk to Santa Maria Fiore and a maximum 10 minute walk to all the other popular sites. But the real highlight is the staff. Super friendly, they will not hesitate to give you insider tips on restaurants and rides. A special thank you to Anneta, I can't describe how helpful she was to us, going out of her way to take us out of a very bothering situation we had. Again a big thank you!

Set in a former convent next to Florence's Archaeological Museum, Guest House Morandi combines modern comforts and a period feeling. The Cathedral is a 5-minute walk away. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! From the moment we arrived we felt like special guests. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We were given excellent restaurant and shopping recommendations. The hotel was immaculate, beautiful and had a Florentine design with its antique furnishings and paintings. We asked for two single beds which was perfect. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Our room was spacious and had cozy sofa and a pretty view onto our private patio. The generous and delicious breakfast was served in a pretty dining room with table clothes and a leafy view onto a courtyard. The cafe lattes were perfectly prepared and breakfast included eggs, ham, bacon, fresh juices, various breads and croissants, cakes, fruits and more. The location of the hotel was very safe and quiet, nestled near a large piazza and the Duomo a 2 minute walk away. Thank you staff of the Hotel Morandi alla Crocetta for the 5 star treatment!

This charming, family-run hotel, which dates back to 1800, has been offering warm hospitality in the heart of the historic centre for 40 years. The place was really clean and very comfy, the hotel has a nice garden where you can take an excellent breakfast. It’s pretty close to the center, the duomo and everything you have to see in Florence! It’s easy to park around the hotel. The hosts were so kind, they will take the time to help you and to answer all of your questions about Florence! Highly recommend ! :)
