The 4-star Starhotels Excelsior is opposite Bologna Train Station and the airport bus terminal. It offers free WiFi throughout, modern interiors, a gourmet restaurant and a free gym. All the services were exceptionally good. The good price is a bonus.

Ideally set in the centre of Bologna, I Portici Hotel Bologna features air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. Everything in the place was awesome: location, room, ambience, atmosphere. And everything comes from the smallest parts like turned on radio with Italian music in the room upon arrival, up to tidiness and helpfulness of staff. We’ll definitely return and next time we’ll definitely visit that only Michelin restaurant in Bologna located exactly in the hotel. We were told it is worth it.

Viesnīca Atlantic atrodas Boloņas pilsētas centrā, tikai 10 minūšu gājiena attālumā no Centrālās stacijas un Piazza Maggiore (galvenā pilsētas laukuma). This was an amazing hotel for the price and location in this major Italian city. Amazing amenities, wonderful breakfast, very quiet inside the hotel, lovely building and decor. Highly recommended!

Just 150 metres from Bologna Train Station, this design hotel is next to the gardens of Parco della Montagnola. It offers ultra-modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant. The gentleman at the front desk was a genuinely polite, pleasant person and kind enough to offer me a free room upgrade. The breakfast was good and the location was quite good (10 minute walk from Bologna Centrale train station, 20 minutes from Piazza Maggiore and opposite the station for buses that go to provincial towns of Emilia Romagna)

Viesnīca NH atrodas Boloņas iepirkšanās rajonā, tikai 300 metru attālumā no Boloņas Centrālās dzelzceļa stacijas. Viesu rīcībā ir bezmaksas bezvadu internets. Better than expected, great bed, clean rooms, great and helpful staff, location, wonderful breakfast. Would stay again for sure.
