The 4-star Starhotels Excelsior is opposite Bologna Train Station and the airport bus terminal. It offers free WiFi throughout, modern interiors, a gourmet restaurant and a free gym. All the services were exceptionally good. The good price is a bonus.

Ideally located in the center of Bologna, I Portici Hotel Bologna has air-conditioned rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hotel offers room service and a concierge service. Everything in the place was awesome: location, room, ambience, atmosphere. And everything comes from the smallest parts like turned on radio with Italian music in the room upon arrival, up to tidiness and helpfulness of staff. We’ll definitely return and next time we’ll definitely visit that only Michelin restaurant in Bologna located exactly in the hotel. We were told it is worth it.

The Atlantic is a minimalist hotel just a 10-minute walk from both Bologna Centrale Train Station and Piazza Maggiore, the main square. All rooms have free internet and air conditioning. This was an amazing hotel for the price and location in this major Italian city. Amazing amenities, wonderful breakfast, very quiet inside the hotel, lovely building and decor. Highly recommended!

Just 492 feet from Bologna Train Station, this design hotel is next to the gardens of Parco della Montagnola. It offers ultra-modern rooms with free Wi-Fi and an on-site restaurant. The gentleman at the front desk was a genuinely polite, pleasant person and kind enough to offer me a free room upgrade. The breakfast was good and the location was quite good (10 minute walk from Bologna Centrale train station, 20 minutes from Piazza Maggiore and opposite the station for buses that go to provincial towns of Emilia Romagna)

Just 320 yards from Bologna Central Train Station, this NH hotel in Bologna's shopping district and features free Wi-Fi. Better than expected, great bed, clean rooms, great and helpful staff, location, wonderful breakfast. Would stay again for sure.
