Built in 1903, the iconic Taj Mahal Palace stands majestically opposite the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The moment you enter the palace you’re in a different world. I had high expectations and after staying in many generic 5-star hotels I must say if fulfilled all of them. You can feel the character and history, this place is magical wherever you look. The staff was absolutely professional and courteous, even upgraded me to a bigger room since I was arriving so late. The breakfast was also fantastic, the choice and quality of the food is just best of the best. If you’re in need of a memorable place to stay in Mumbai- this is absolutely a must.

Hotel Antique - Colaba ligger perfekt beläget i centrala Mumbai, en kort bit från Colaba Causeway och 16 minuters promenad från Gateway of India. I don't know when they managed to take this picture !!! So busy in front of this hotel, but so nicely busy !!! I loved this place and the area , so genuine, wonderful smiling staff, wonderful neighborhood. Go eating at cafe madras on the main street, 40 meters away.
