Built in 1903, the iconic Taj Mahal Palace stands majestically opposite the Gateway of India, overlooking the Arabian Sea. The moment you enter the palace you’re in a different world. I had high expectations and after staying in many generic 5-star hotels I must say if fulfilled all of them. You can feel the character and history, this place is magical wherever you look. The staff was absolutely professional and courteous, even upgraded me to a bigger room since I was arriving so late. The breakfast was also fantastic, the choice and quality of the food is just best of the best. If you’re in need of a memorable place to stay in Mumbai- this is absolutely a must.

During our stay we had breakfast at the hotel daily and utilised the spa multiple times and the service was impeccable in both and throughout the hotel. Combined with the hotel’s ideal location, this makes it a perfect choice for anyone coming to Mumbai for any purpose.

Ideally set in the centre of Mumbai, Hotel Antique - Colaba is within 100 metres of Colaba Causeway and 1.3 km of Gateway of India. I don't know when they managed to take this picture !!! So busy in front of this hotel, but so nicely busy !!! I loved this place and the area , so genuine, wonderful smiling staff, wonderful neighborhood. Go eating at cafe madras on the main street, 40 meters away.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel near the Gateway of India. The hotel faces the harbor and you can get great view from the rooftop restaurant, where breakfast is also served. (Psst ask for the masala omelette) Staff went out of their way to ensure my comfort.
