Hotel di Margaret Island, Budapest

Built in 1873 on the lush green and quiet Margaret Island in the centre of Budapest, the Ensana Grand Margaret Island offers a spacious spa area with a selection of treatments. The staff were helpful and polite. The breakfast was great. We enjoyed the thermal pools. The bistro had reasonable prices with good food. Margaret Island is a relaxing place to stay in November. It was lovely to soak in the thermal water and watch the beautiful trees with autumn colours and leaves falling. The air in Budapest felt cleaner on Margaret Island than in other places in the city. The room was good value for the experience.
