In Glasgow’s West End, the Argyll Western Hotel is a 5-minute walk from the university and just 5 minutes’ drive from the city centre. Cosy, nice clean rooms and fabulous staff. The location is perfect and gives you easy access to buses, tubes, fabulous restaurants and cafes, museums and parks. The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Would highly recommend it! 👌

When we arrived, the property was very beautiful with a lot of great artworks and decorations. It was clean and comfortable, and we felt really happy and lucky. However, just a little later, we found that the freezer was covered in ice and unusable, the stovetop was not working, and later discovered the washing machine was full of clothes. I tried to contact the management, but they responded very late and told me they will send someone over to look the next day. And we were checking out the next day. It was really disappointing and unprofessional.

It is very tastefully decorated and no detail is missed. It is also located in one of the best areas in Glasgow on the edge of Kelvingrove Park but within easy reach of the centre or the popular area of Byres Rd. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel special when they visit. We certainly did! The owners also had nice touches like provision of essentials in the fridge, a nice basket of fruit and were periodically checking that everything was OK.

Beautifully decorated three bed apartment with a nice view with free parking out the front. Extremely comfortable beds. Mark the owner stocked up on some lovely food essentials before we arrived. Great location just across from the green, with two kids play areas and a cafe. Excellent response time from Mark when we had questions.
