When we arrived, the property was very beautiful with a lot of great artworks and decorations. It was clean and comfortable, and we felt really happy and lucky. However, just a little later, we found that the freezer was covered in ice and unusable, the stovetop was not working, and later discovered the washing machine was full of clothes. I tried to contact the management, but they responded very late and told me they will send someone over to look the next day. And we were checking out the next day. It was really disappointing and unprofessional.

I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel special when they visit. We certainly did! The owners also had nice touches like provision of essentials in the fridge, a nice basket of fruit and were periodically checking that everything was OK.

Das Glasgow Youth Hostel bietet 4-Sterne-Unterkünfte im Visitscotland-Stil in einem viktorianischen Stadthaus mit Blick auf den Kelvingrove Park im lebhaften West End von Glasgow. Vorallem das Personal, alle waren sehr freundlich und sehr, sehr hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber, die Betten okay. Das Bad gross und sauber. Das ganze Hostel war überwältigend und in einer guten, ruhigen Lage.
