The elegant Hospes Puerta de Alcalá, a Member of Design Hotels is set next to Puerta de Alcalá, in Madrid’s Salamanca district. The location is the best, next to El Retiro park, in front of the Puerta de Alcala, you could walk to all the museums of Paseo de El Prado and to the Puerta del Sol. You could enjoy the people buzz and yet it was much calmer than the super busy areas closer to the km 0. Also a lot of bus stops in front of the hotel, metro and taxis line next to it. The rooms are very spacious, the bed and bathroom super comfortable and clean. I super recommend the breakfast, it had great variety and they prepare eggs, pancakes, churros for you and the personal is very professional, sweet and attentive. The personal/staff are the best I have ever encountered. They were very genuine in their attentions to you, they make you really feel welcomed and part of their big family. With C19 they all wore masks and kept the rooms and hotel super clean. I highly recommend this hotel.
