Incredibly beautiful hotel, with a lot of love for the details. Looks almost like a museum (but in a good way). The ceilings are high and the room was very spacious. The staff was very helpful, super friendly and reliable. The location is unbeatable. All in all, an amazing experience, would stay again.

Located in the Centro Histórico district in Quito, 300 metres from Colonial Art Museum, Vista del Angel Hotel Boutique features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi throughout the property. This hotel is wonderful - we loved the restaurant and the views are amazing. The staff is friendly and kind, and we would absolutely book this place again if we are lucky enough to return to Quito in the future. We loved the location - yes it is at the top of a hill, but that's why you get great views, and having been up to a hotel in the newer area of town for the start of a tour we can say we were really happy to be staying in the older historic centre.

Casa Hotel Las Plazas is set in Quito, 100 metres from Sucre Theatre and 300 metres from Colonial Art Museum. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. We loved our stay. The hotel and building was quaint and charming. Lucia and the staff were so accommodating and friendly and go out of their way for whatever you need. The location is great, just a block or two from all the main sites. We always felt safe and enjoyed being able to pop into our room whenever we needed a break from touring. Breakfast, along with Lucia's explanations of juices and Ecuadorian traditions, was fabulous. We were very satisfied with our stay at Casa Hotel Las Plazas and would stay again if we ever go back. The room was huge and beautifully decorated. The hotel is a haven of peace in the historical center of Quito. Breakfast was delicious and made with great care, they even got gluten free bread for us! Located in Quito’s historical centre, Hotel Casa Gardenia offers modern and bright accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Buffet breakfast is included. The main square is 500 metres away. The hotel is located in Centro de Historico, and within walking distance of most tourist attractions in the area. It was recommended to me by my tour guide, and it did not disappoint! The owner and staff here are so friendly and helpful! We had arrived just a little after 5pm on a Saturday, and it was right after the power was cut off (country wide daily scheduled power outage). The battery on our phones were running low after after flight, and friends that we met in Galapagos the week prior was staying in another area where there was electricity. We were nervous to walk down to the square to meet them, as it was starting to get dark (and there were no street lights due to the power outage), don't speak Spanish, and generally not oriented with the area. Enrique offered to walk down to the square with us, and made sure we were ok before leaving. The next morning, we were feeling affects of the altitude, and he got us coca tea, and advice on what to do to help us acclimatize. Andre was friendly, offered us water before us heading out. Made sure we got something to eat every morning. There was always fruit, bread, and cook to order eggs and ham! He was extremely apologetic for the power outage, but it was to no fault of the hotel! He provided a portable lamp so that we would have a source of light at night. Cynthia was also very friendly and helpful, and helped us arrange airport transfer at the end of our trip, and even got the driver to come earlier when we were ready to go. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Casa Gardenia! Everything was clean and tidy. Service was amazing. The hotel has floor to ceiling windows that overlook Quito, and it's an amazing view! Wifi was fast (when the power was on. Would definitely recommend!

The 5-star Plaza Grande is on Plaza de la Independencia, Quito´s central square. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza Grande. The location at Plaza Grande is just faboulus to explore the historical center. The rooms are decorated beautifully and elegantly. The staff was very friendly and did everything to make our stay most pleasureable. The restaurant serves delicious food, we especially enjoyed the "Helados de Paila" - you should definitely order it when you are here.
