This hotel is located in the centre of Dresden, a 1-minute walk from the main train station. All rooms at the Hotel Villa Kipping include cable TV and a work desk. Awesome location. Walk 4 minutes across street from train station and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and 20 minutes walk to old town. Very quiet and comfortable. Good size rooms. Staff were warm and welcoming. Good a/c. Would stay again!

Excellent location, short bus ride or 20 minutes walk from the centre of Dresden. Quiet street with plenty of free parking though host could have allocated us a private space if necessary. Supermarket and two restaurants nearby. Extremely comfortable bed - the best we had during our holiday. Big room with everything we needed. WiFi worked very well.

A perfect arrangement for us! Grocery across the street, fun beer pub around the corner. What more do you need?

A very spacious apartment, with a huge bedroom, entrance hall, kitchen/dining area and spacious bathroom, reflecting the grandeur of a different era. While this is a couple of kilometres or more from the centre of Dresden, it was easy to acccess the city centre by bus, and the walk from the station, though up a gentle slope, is manageable unless you have heavy luggage. As this is a self-catering arrangement, the Konsum store across the road is very convenient.
