This hotel is located in the centre of Dresden, a 1-minute walk from the main train station. All rooms at the Hotel Kipping include cable TV and a work desk. Awesome location. Walk 4 minutes across street from train station and walkable to restaurants, shopping, and 20 minutes walk to old town. Very quiet and comfortable. Good size rooms. Staff were warm and welcoming. Good a/c. Would stay again!

The bathroom had big shower for 2 people. The soap and shampoo was luxurious. The kitchen had coffee machine and we got many coffee capsules for free. The TV had over 100 programs, Netflix and other apps. The owner is super friendly handsome man. He recommended us where to go, what to see, where to eat. The supermarket, fish market and amazing fish restaurant is nearby.

Luxurious and spacious, quiet, and only a 2K walk to the Semperoper, where we went 4x for Wagner’s “Ring”. A perfect arrangement for us! Grocery across the street, fun beer pub around the corner. While this is a couple of kilometres or more from the centre of Dresden, it was easy to acccess the city centre by bus, and the walk from the station, though up a gentle slope, is manageable unless you have heavy luggage. As this is a self-catering arrangement, the Konsum store across the road is very convenient.
