This family-run hotel lies in a quiet side street, located 10 minutes from Cologne Cathedral and just 20 minutes from the Kölnmesse exhibition grounds. I travelled from Manchester UK to a gig at Burgerhaus Stollwerck and found this hotel located around 10 minutes away - I arrived at the central station from the airport and caught the 132 bus directly to Chlodwigplatz. I had read on the website that the hotel is painted green and could see it easily! This is such a relief for a traveller who knows nothing of the local language. Reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, advising me how to get to the venue later. In the morning I enjoyed a complementary coffee and after realising that I hadn't packed as well as I thought I was also given helpful advice on somewhere nearby to buy a cheap T shirt! I'm glad I had enough time to walk around the local area in the evening and the next morning as it's very pleasant - I was impressed by the old gatehouse in the nearby square. The room was very comfortable and good value - I didn't make use of the cafe located next door for time reasons but there were many places to grab food and drinks nearby which I used before catching a tram back to the station for the next part of my journey.

A családi kézben lévő Conti Hotel egy modern szálloda, mely Köln városközpontjában található a belga negyed szívében. Very nice hotel with a personal touch, very nice staff in the reception. Helpful with good practical tips. Good breakfast and the location is great. The room was good but the bed was a bit worn and I could feel a dip in the middle of the bed. Now I am working with beds and have very strict ideas about how a bed should feel. For sure I will try to book same hotel next time I visit Cologne :)

NunoHotel is located on Barbarossaplatz Square in the Neustadt district of Cologne. It features modern rooms with digital satellite TV. This hotel is not located in the centre of Cologne, but south of the centre, which was very convenient for my trip (attending an event nearby). It is at a junction of several tram lines, so it’s easy to get anywhere in the city. Köln Sud train station is an easy walking distance away, if you’re coming by train from the airport. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke excellent English – of course. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. Free coffee on arrival was a bonus 👍

Hello everyone)) I stayed 10 days in this hotel. I really liked hospitality of the hostel team. All staff was great). Additionally, i really liked cleanliness of the room, bathroom.

Set within less than 1 km of Volksgarten Park and a 15-minute walk of Neumarkt Square Cologne in Cologne, aTa & oMo offers accommodation with seating area. The host was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed. She also gave me a good explanation on surroundings such as restaurants, cafes etc and made sure that I will have a good stay. The room was very clean and charming. It has almost everything I needed for the long weekend stay. Thank you also for the nice easter chocolate which I found at my door as a surprise :-)

Very comfortable and well laid out accommodation. Easily accessible by metro/tram and taxi. Within walking distance of a good range of cafes, bars, grocery shops, etc.
