I absolutely loved the design, style, and the detail in the room and bathroom. The timber floors, the stony walls, the amazing huge and comfy bed, the porcelain cups, the L'Occitane cosmetics, and the window facing a historical part of the town hall- all this was wonderful and made my stay extremely pleasant. I also appreciated that the hotel was located only a short walking distance from the Cologne Cathedral and the main train station.

A 5-minute walk from Cologne Cathedral and a 9-minute walk from Cologne Central Station, this hotel lies on a side street in the Old Town. It has air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. The location is perfect, walkable distance to the main sights. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast was great. The staff is very kind and make you feel good and cozy.

The room was perfect for a couple. It is a great location, just footsteps ( okay, 4 minutes) from the central train station; it is a bustling location but still very quiet. The rooms were meticulously clean. And the morning breakfast was set early, so again, it is perfect if you have an early connection. And thank you again, Sebastian.

I’ll definitely look for them in other cities 😄 very cool rooms and layouts, quirky features, comfortable, good temperatures, quiet (even though it’s central), the lobby looks very intriguing. I just wish I spent more than 1 night there to enjoy all the facilities. We had free water and local beers in the mini bar as well.

Heinzels Wintermärchen is right outside the door & the H stop for the hoilday train is in the immediate vicinity as well. Cozy room with tall ceilings and street facing windows which opened to allow in the Christmas music. Very clean, with a mini frig, comfortable bed & nice ensuite bath. Easy 8 minute walk (with a roller bag) from the train station and Cathedral. There is a highly rated restaurant on-site that smelled fantastic, but I didn't get a chance to try it. I would stay in this accommodation again on future visits & found the value in the rate.
