This was an amazing stay at a wonderful hotel, within a historic refurbished building, conveniently located in the charming former french concession near plenty of cafes and restaurants. the concierge Thomas was always helpful and the rest of the staff always ready to help.

The in-room dining was DELICIOUS, the BEST I've had at any hotel and I have *LIVED* in 8 countries.The building decor is stunning. If you need anything, someone is there 24/7 with an eager spirit to help!

Shanghai Jianguo Hotel is located in Xujiahui commercial and shopping center and Xujiahuiyuan Scenic Area, at the intersection of Caoxi North Road and Nandan Road, adjacent to Ganghui 66 Plaza,... Nice sized rooms right above the subway station almost, the subway itself it a walk underneath but it's most subway stations in China! Very clean, friendly staff And overall good experience. Location is not in the centre but 30 mins by subway to the bund area
