The rooms were clean and peaceful, and I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh bottles of water in my room every day. The internet connection was reliable, and the hotel lobby offered an endless supply of free Chinese tea and coffee. The lobby also featured comfortable sofas and a long bar counter with a large table, perfect for working or chatting with friends. On the ground floor, there was a Japanese restaurant with reasonable prices and a fantastic menu. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a 10-15 minute walk to the metro and a large mall. There were always plenty of bikes available near the hotel, which I rented every morning to explore the city. Additionally, a bus stop right in front of the hotel made getting around even more convenient. The highlight of my stay was the incredible staff. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, genuinely interested in conversation. I especially enjoyed talking with the manager, Ivan, in English. He shared fascinating insights into Chinese culture, recommended great places to visit in Shanghai and the surrounding areas, and always had useful tips for navigating the city. I highly recommend chatting with him if you get the chance. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai, I think price is reasonable, I looked at a lot of hotels not much cheaper, but many looked too old, with poor sound insulation and cockroaches.

This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff goes above and beyond at every oppurtunity, treating everyone like royalty. The rooms were immaculate. The in-room dining was DELICIOUS, the BEST I've had at any hotel and I have *LIVED* in 8 countries.The building decor is stunning. If you need anything, someone is there 24/7 with an eager spirit to help!

Twelve at Hengshan, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Shanghai is located along Hengshan Road, a 3-minute walk from Hengshan Road metro station. I’ve stayed at 12 Hengshan a few times before it was under the IHG umbrella - it is still the best hotel in Shanghai. The location is great (if you want an authentic Shanghai experience) and the rooms are large and comfortable. I arrived at 10am and they let me check in then! Wow this has never happened before - it saved me from having to kill time before check in of 2pm! Also the reception girls were very helpful with my internet issues!

Shanghai Jianguo Hotel is located in Xujiahui commercial and shopping center and Xujiahuiyuan Scenic Area, at the intersection of Caoxi North Road and Nandan Road, adjacent to Ganghui 66 Plaza,... I had a great staying at Shanghai at the Jianguo hotel. the room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable and the staff very helpful and kind.

Lemon Hotel - Metro Line 1 Line 7 Changshu Road er staðsett í Sjanghæ og í innan við 1,6 km fjarlægð frá Jing'an-hofinu. 200 metra er með sameiginlega setustofu, reyklaus herbergi og ókeypis WiFi. I wanted to say a lot of great things about Lemon hotel but let me start with people who works there. Jiatong Wu and Xiao Xi, you guys are amazing, such a friendly, helpful, outstanding and well mannered people so I wish I take your personal contacts to be friends. But I’ll definitely come back to your hotel hopefully I’ll see you again soon. The best maintained property I’ve seen. And I travel a lot. Lots of amenities, everything is super clean and especially bathroom and shower rooms literally sanitized right away after use even at midnight which is unbelievable. Well I usually stop at Hilton hotels but this time I got a 10 hour layover so I decided not to go crazy on extras. Turns out this hotel has so many extras for a few bucks that I never imagined. I enjoyed the amenities, laundry was super useful, they even have wine machine over there. Everything. Lemon hotel worth so much more. Loved it
