Conveniently situated in the centre of Kunming, Kunming Spring City Boutique Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I have to thank the receptionist boy for not only bringing my luggage up to the 9th floor but also giving me an ethernet cord for wifi connection to my computer! Previously I did NOT get any wifi on my laptop computer so was desperate in need of wifi for the laptop! He helped me big time! Thank him!

Attractively situated in the centre of Kunming, Grand Hyatt Kunming offers free WiFi and a bar. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a fitness centre, as well as an indoor pool and a sauna. This was our first stop in Yunnan and I have to say the hotel was amazing! It must be quite new, as everything still looks very sparkly! Rooms are super functional, nice size and very pretty. Every restaurant we went was great! The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a buffet dinner there for New Year's Eve and it was super good too. Once we had a small snack in the lobby lounge on the ground level and the food was also fantastic and so was the staff! Bonus points for the next door shopping mall which is very cool too. Would definitely recommend when in Kunming.

Well set in Kunming, JEN Kunming by Shangri-La provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. The hotel exceeded our expectations. We took 3 Jens King rooms for the 4 of us, and everyone was very happy with the hotel. Rooms are very well appointed, clean and well-designed. Everything we needed are there. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. The black-out blinds were perfect for a complete dark room at night, and the sound-proofing very good. We really like the auto hot/cold water dispenser. Every hotel room should have one! My family love the gym. This gym has to be the best equipped hotel gym that we have ever come across. It also has a lovely heated indoor pool. Pity none of us came with our swim wear as we certainly didn't expect to swim in winter. Location also very handy. 5 mins walk to the new Spring 66 Mall, which is a very nice mall. If we are ever back in Kunming, this will be the hotel we stay again and again. No brainer.

Ideally located in the Panlong District district of Kunming, Fairfield by Marriott Kunming Xinying is set 2.7 km from Jiaosanqiao Station, 2.9 km from Baiyun Road Station and 2.9 km from Kunming North... room rates definitely worth the price, considering the location, quality of service, and the amenities offered. The hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from the restaurants and shops. We didn’t need to use a taxi or public transport much, which was very convenient.

Ideally situated in the centre of Kunming, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kunming Guandu features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a restaurant. The room was big, amenities complete, there was even a huge projector. Location very close to Kunming train station.

Ha Luo Hotel is conveniently located in the downtown Kunming. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas. Nanping Pedestrian Street and Zhengyifang Pedestrian Street are 10 minutes' walk away. Huge room and super friendly staff! Everything was very clean and they helped us with metro information to bus station as well! The lady in charge was already leaving when we arrived at the building but she was kind enough to go up to the reception with us for the check in with her staff and waited until we went to our room.

It's close to all the actions but far away enough not to get embroiled in the chaos. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean.
