Conveniently set in Geneva, The Woodward - an Oetker Collection Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. I mean, this is about as great as it gets in terms of hotels. Had to stay because of flight issues, but for a last-minute place to sleep it certainly sufficed, and improved my mood. If you end up staying here, there's lots to enjoy. The breakfast is amazing.

Ideally located in the city centre, just 250 metres from Lake Geneva, citizenM Geneva offers air-conditioned rooms, a restaurant and a bar. They heated my food if I needed to. I got a quiet room and I loved the iPad experience. Downstairs, the staff would help even if it was self service.
