Newly built in 2014, The Passage in Basel is a centrally located design hotel featuring a sauna, a fitness centre, free WiFi access and air-conditioned rooms. The staff, location, room basically everything about the stay was excellent! Really close to the Christmas Market, restaurants and shopping. The bed was comfy and the room was fairly quiet too.

Awesome breakfast with a lot of choices! The location was within walking distance of everything you need to see. The room was spacious and sufficient. There were complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby and you receive a free transportation card upon check-in!

Steinenschanze Charming City & Garden Hotel is less than 5 minutes' walk from Basel's city centre and the university, close to historical buildings and the old town. I loved that I received an email from the property with one day before arrival with everything I need to know to get at the hotel. The hotel staff was very professional, the breakfast was healthy and tasty, the room was very comfy. The hotel has a very good location near to the centre. The bus station to the train station is in front of the building. Overall, it was an amazing experience! For sure, next time I’ll pick the same accommodation!

Occupying a medieval building next to the historic Spalen Gate, this 3-star hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Basel’s Old Town. Wi-Fi is free of charge. It was clean and large room for three people family. Breakfast was great. Location was near the city center. There was a near tram station and bus station to the airport and city center and train station.
