Even the place settings at breakfast were perfect! And it is near Monsanto, which is an amazing village to visit. Strongly recommend!

"Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo" is the typical countryside accommodation with lots to offer: pool, barbecue, farm animals, bikes, canoes. Also, since it's close to the hills, it's quite easy to go for a hike and be in communion with the nature. It's relatively close to "Passadiços do Mondego" which are an amazing experience. The staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. It is such a special place with attention to every detail. It is so impressive what has been created here. We will definitely be back.

Boasting mountain views, Lago Azul Villas features accommodation with balcony, around 24 km from Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Jaime is a wonderful host and welcomed us upon arrival. He recommended a good restaurant 10 minutes away and was available if we had any concerns which we did not. Probably most fun during the summer season. View was spectacular. We had a lovely outdoor seating area and a very spacious room.

Featuring an infinity pool and views of pool, TheVagar Countryhouse is a recently renovated country house located in Belmonte, 42 km from Parque Natural Serra da Estrela. Marta and her team were such great hosts. They were patient, gracious, attentive and very generous. They helped us with our rental car issues and followed through (even after checking out) just to make sure we were alright and had reached our destination safely. We are so thankful for their generosity and kindness. The property was also gorgeous to say the least. Every detail was meticulously yet subtlely well thought out. We had the most comfortable stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The view from our room was to die for. Needless to say, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Once again, kudos and obrigada to Marta and team.

We loved everything: the warm welcome, the explanations about the place, and the friendly hosts. It's a tastefully designed boutique hotel, with super clean and luxurious room. Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Quinta Chão da Bispa is set in Oliveira do Hospital. Isabela has created a piece of heaven. She and her husband welcomed us with open arms. We felt like family. She recommended a restaurant for dinner, it was very good.

Situated just 39 km from Belmonte Calvário Chapel, Unhais Valley - Country House offers accommodation in Unhais da Serra with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Perfect surroundings. Magnificent view from the apartment. Continental breakfast is perfect and very fresh. The Serra da Estrella natural park provides lots of trekking paths. In the Vila apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view while drinking wine in a jacuzzi :D The trekking during July might be hard due to high temperatures and due to high grass bushes on the path.
