No one was using the other room (that is also for rent), so we don't know about the noise that can/cannot be heard when there is someone else in the house. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could need, from coffee and salt (even pasta tat we cooked for dinner!) and all the equipment we could possibly need. Mr. Dinis was so nice, so thoughtful and so welcoming! The bed was 5 stars, the shower had very good water pressure and temperature easy to regulate. Everything was spotless clean. There isn't a single bad thing to point. Lovely!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. Everything here is superb. Our unit was on 2 floors - all spotless. Far more space than we needed. Wonderful gardens with a large pool. Parking right outside our apartment. The property is secure with gated access. Gorgeous views all round. A really lovely place. Highly recommend We ate at a super local restaurant called “Ponto de Encontro”. 3 courses for 2 people plus drinks and all for €37. A great stopover and only sorry it was just for one night

Magnificent view from the apartment. Continental breakfast is perfect and very fresh. The Serra da Estrella natural park provides lots of trekking paths. In the Vila apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view while drinking wine in a jacuzzi :D The trekking during July might be hard due to high temperatures and due to high grass bushes on the path.
