Bode Country House is a beautiful B&B in a wonderful setting. The hosts were so warm, inviting and accommodating. Attention was paid to the finest details. Even the place settings at breakfast were perfect! And it is near Monsanto, which is an amazing village to visit. Strongly recommend!

The room where we stayed was spacious, comfortable, with good light to work at night and very nice sun light during the day. It was a very silent and quiet place! No one was using the other room (that is also for rent), so we don't know about the noise that can/cannot be heard when there is someone else in the house. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we could need, from coffee and salt (even pasta tat we cooked for dinner!) and all the equipment we could possibly need. Mr. Dinis was so nice, so thoughtful and so welcoming! The bed was 5 stars, the shower had very good water pressure and temperature easy to regulate. Everything was spotless clean. There isn't a single bad thing to point. Lovely!

Boasting pool with a view and views of mountain, Alqueiturismo - Casas de Campo is a holiday park set in a historic building in Guarda, 12 km from Guarda Cathedral. Peaceful paradise in nature. Fabulously clean apartment with a functional kitchen. My family loved the pool and the common area with the pool table. 5 minutes away was a great local restaurant called Madeira’s.

Boasting mountain views, Lago Azul Villas features accommodation with balcony, around 24 km from Capela de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Jaime is a wonderful host and welcomed us upon arrival. He recommended a good restaurant 10 minutes away and was available if we had any concerns which we did not. Probably most fun during the summer season. View was spectacular. We had a lovely outdoor seating area and a very spacious room.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Quinta Chão da Bispa is set in Oliveira do Hospital. Isabela has created a piece of heaven. She and her husband welcomed us with open arms. We felt like family. She recommended a restaurant for dinner, it was very good.

Magnificent view from the apartment. Continental breakfast is perfect and very fresh. The Serra da Estrella natural park provides lots of trekking paths. In the Vila apartment you can enjoy a beautiful view while drinking wine in a jacuzzi :D The trekking during July might be hard due to high temperatures and due to high grass bushes on the path.
