Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Thanks again to Asela and his family for a wonderful stay 🙏🏼

We loved everything about this place. The rooms were clean, beds were extremely comfortable, food was great and beatiful bathroom so far our favorite place we stated in Sri Lanka. People who run this place were always making sure everyone was comfortable, had what needed and were happy. Loved our three nights stay here and would definitely return. We got tea and cookies on arrival which was very kind. Thank you ! Highly recommend it!

Nastanitev Highgrove Estate By Ishq je v mestu Labugolla, 17 km od znamenitosti Jezero Gregory. V sklopu nastanitve so v ponudbi vrt, terasa in Restavracija. The location was excellent and the staff for the service was very courteous. Our group eat Jain vegetarian food. The manager John after discussion with our group prepared excellent Jain food to our satisfaction.The location of the property is also very scenic. Overall the stay was memorable for our group.

We stayed with Meena Amma for three short days, and wished we had longer. Meena’s hospitality is note perfect, and her traditional Sri Lankan meals the best we have enjoyed in our time on the island. The setting of the two line rooms is stunning, from the beautiful sunrises to the peaceful evenings in the valley. Thank you Meena for your warmth, effort, care and culinary brilliance - we won’t forget it!

When we arrived the place the host gave us a superb well come with a well come drink actually it made us so happy 😀 rooms are excellent with panoramic view and the bathrooms are clean with hot shower 👍 the host is all ways ready to help us with a lovely smile ❤️ Breakfast is excellent,WiFi is excellent thanks for ua hospitality definitely we will visit again.highly recommended

Nastanitev Tailors Cottage je v mestu Hatton, 41 km od znamenitosti Jezero Gregory ter 32 km od znamenitosti Adamov vrh, in nudi brezplačen WiFi, vrt s teraso ter pogled na mesto. Lovely host, helped us out in every way! Made breakfast every morning for us and just really nice to have him around! Would definitely recommend ☺️

Loved the room, beautiful bathroom, great big bed with duvet (not just a sheet haha). We got tea and biscuits at our arrival, which was lovely, and the owner was so kind! We did our laundry here as well for like €2. Busstop so close by, to go visit the waterfalls and bluefield tea factory for example. Also the Grand Hotel only 20-30 min by foot, we ate twice there and it was wonderful. Would have stayed here one additional night if we could, but we had to catch the train to Ella.
