Featuring a garden and views of garden, Shirin1892 is a country house situated in a historic building in Nuwara Eliya, 1.7 km from Gregory Lake. This is a beautiful homestay run by Asela and his wife who cooks delicious breakfast for their guests. They provided us everything possible to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their rooms are very big. Weather was cold and it was so nice of them to give us hot drinking water , lit up the fire place at night. They gave us a packed breakfast for our Horton Plains Tour. To get a colonial feel you must stay in this property located just opposite to Race course. They also gave us wide varieties of food items in dinner which was made up of their own grown plants. Completely organic. With their deep knowledge about tea , they helped us buying the best tea in Nuwara Eliya . They gave us a big breakfast spread which had both Sri Lankan and Western food items. They gave us pick and drop for the railway station too. They arranged Nuwara Eliya sightseeing tour for us. They have all the amenities and facilities needed for a wonderful stay.

Located within 5.1 km of Gregory Lake and 12 km of Hakgala Botanical Garden in Nuwara Eliya, Lily Bank Cottage features accommodation with seating area. This was the comfiest place we stayed in Sri Lanka. Shower was really hot, which is a big plus in the colder weather in Nurwara Eliya. Host was amazing. Offered to sort trips, made beautiful breakfast and communicated everything with us. The walk to the town is 15 mins on way in (downhill) and pretty easy The way back is about 20/25 uphill and a bit tougher. Lots of tuktuks in town centre if needed. Highly recommend.

The place is amazing, its covered with wood and give cozy, warm vibes. The room was sparkling clean and smelled so good. The bathroom was new - the floor, sink, bath. It was big with hot water available. There is a good wifi connection, and in the common area you have place to work, read, or just relax. Also there is a kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. Highly Recommened!

We stayed with Meena Amma for three short days, and wished we had longer. Meena’s hospitality is note perfect, and her traditional Sri Lankan meals the best we have enjoyed in our time on the island. The setting of the two line rooms is stunning, from the beautiful sunrises to the peaceful evenings in the valley. Thank you Meena for your warmth, effort, care and culinary brilliance - we won’t forget it!

Offering a garden and mountain view, King's Lodge is situated in Nuwara Eliya, 4.8 km from Gregory Lake and 12 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. We stayed for one night, but everything was perfect. We got one of the best omelets for breakfest for me. Very tasty. The room was beautiful with a view and the bed was very nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed it and I definitely recommend it.

It was amazing, the the guy who welcomed us was really nice and he did his best. Room and bathroom was perfect, it had also nice garden. Definitely I can recommend it.
