Renowned for its superb cuisine and excellent service, this traditional country house is set in 70 acres of tranquil parkland and dates back over 300 years. The location was excellent. The Sunday lunch was excellent. The room was spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfortable.. The staff were very polite and helpful

The grounds are quite beautiful and we enjoyed walking around them. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. The true magic was the setting. Bird song and flitting about, the family dog, walks just outside the gate, ending with a double rainbow over the house on the last day. Magic.
