We love the quirky nature of the b&b portion. The true magic was the setting. Bird song and flitting about, the family dog, walks just outside the gate, ending with a double rainbow over the house on the last day. Magic.

Good breakfast choices. Very quiet and peaceful location.
We stayed at the Upside Down House for a week and it was brilliant. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Beds were very comfortable, as was the living room. The kitchen was extremely well equipped. It's a very peaceful area and the immediate countryside was wonderful for jogging and walking. It was very easy to get in and out of Worcester, where we went every day for the Three Choirs Festival. It felt like a home away from home and we're really sad to be leaving! Can't recommend it highly enough!
The accommodation was perfect. Set in a lovely quiet garden area. It was peaceful, quiet and dark at night. No light pollution. The hosts were perfect. On hand if needed but left you alone otherwise. Very friendly.
Lovely quiet location with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside.
The whole hotel experience was superb. The staff were friendly and personable; they made us feel very welcome and very special. Our evening meal in the fine dining restaurant was excellent and of a very high standard. The location was very quiet (even the bleating of the sheep was part of the whole "countryside" vibe) and the grounds were beautiful. Overall this was a delightful country house hotel experience of a very high standard. Thank you
I had a lovely 2 night stay at The Costrel. The accommodation was superb: it had a feeling of quality and luxury due to the bed, mattress, walk-in shower, and decor, and I appreciated the assortment of teas and coffee. It’s cosy and warm (central heating and a portable oil radiator as well) and the house is on a quiet lane with no noise in the countryside. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend it.
very peaceful village and hotel was beautifully quiet at night even on a fiday night. Bed was supersize and very comfortable and the shower was good.Very good sized room. Cooked breakfast was excellent with a very warm and friendly chef Kev catering for our every need. we enjoyed the outside terrace and field space with lovely views over the countryside.
Room clean, light & airy, comfortable bed, radiators adjustable to your preferred temperature, TV more than adequate, good selection of tea & coffee & UHT milk replenished daily, hairdryer provided, very quiet location (no road noise due to countryside setting with village green opposite) enabling a peaceful nights sleep. Breakfast very good (scrambled egg yummy !) would highly recommend. Overall excellent value for money & would stay again.
It felt luxurious and was spotlessly clean. Great quality bedding and fixtures fittings. Host met us on arrival and explained everything. Communication was excellent. Safe secure parking. Quiet and peaceful despite being on a busy road.
