The grounds are quite beautiful and we enjoyed walking around them. Our room was very nice and comfortable. The owners were very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely love to stay there again.

The true magic was the setting. Bird song and flitting about, the family dog, walks just outside the gate, ending with a double rainbow over the house on the last day. Magic.

Nestled amid 19 acres of gardens and woodland, this 19th century country house provides the ideal base from which to explore the rolling hills and hidden valleys of the Cotswolds. It's as beautiful as the pictures on their web pages ! The full breakfast with fruit, sausage, ham, egg, potatoes, mushrooms, beans and of course juice, coffee/tea, breads, and pastries was enough to keep anyone going until dinner time. A dozen towns in the Cotswolds deserve visits, and staying in Dumbleton Hall doubled the enjoyment of our trip there.

Dating back to the 13th century, Buckland Manor is set in immaculate gardens, featuring croquet lawns and tennis courts. Sumptuous bedrooms have bathrobes, fresh apples and toiletries. Excellent breakfast fine room location.
