Breakfast was big and tasty both days. Richard & Trish were friendly and helpful offering advice and recommendations. It's the perfect place to stay for an escape to the Dales or to tackle the Three Peaks.

The room was spacious and filled with character. The breakfast was of the highest quality and would be hard to match in the best of hotels. Most enjoyable with fine hosts.

Located within 29 km of York Railway station and 30 km of York Minster in Thirkleby, Burtree Country House and Retreats Tipi provides accommodation with seating area. Absolutely stunning! the tipi was sooo cute and it felt so thoughtful. all the facilities were clean and modern. we had a windy night and I can totally say it will stay up! I’m definitely going again! have to visit!
