The grounds are beautiful and to watch the cows grazing in the pasture next door and the bunnies and grey squirrels enjoying themselves was a delight. Thoroughly enjoyed our homemade hot breakfast ever morning and a varied selection of choices. Our host is a retired chef, so it does not get any better. The best surprise was returning from our day trips from Ripon, Ripley and other surrounding villages, to have fresh homemade Scottish shortbread along with a lovely selection of teas in our room when we returned. The hosts gave great recommendations of different villages, restaurants and places to see. They also provided us with names of restaurants within the North Yorkshire Dales area which was appreciated. Thank you Janet and Paul for a lovely stay. Would highly recommend to our friends and family. See you soon and look forward to another stay at the Hazel Manor.

In the heart of the thriving market town of Malton, The Talbot provides accommodation in a 17th century riverside coaching inn. Cozy hotel with nich garden patio and wąsy to walk in Malton. I like historical buildings. My stay was very enjoyable. Easy to walk from the train station to the hotel. Good connection to York.

Located a few minutes from Scarborough's beaches and with ample parking this elegant country house is set in acres of private grounds on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, boasting... It was lovely , great food , felt very much at home

Excellent hotel and wonderful/exceptional staff. The pictures on the website really don't do it justice. Only spent one night because we needed a place to crash after a very long drive, only to realise how great the place was. Will definitely be going back.
