Vast deep vistas over the valley and surrounding mountains. Lovely new building. The two hosts were kind, accommodating, generous, nice to talk with. The dinner and breakfast services were both wonderful. What a chef! We were so happy here.

Situated in Collias, 28 km from Parc Expo Nîmes, Château de Collias features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. My stay at Chateau de Collias was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere that made us feel like royalty. Location: The chateau is perfectly situated in the picturesque village of Collias, surrounded by the beautifully curated gardens and territory of the chateau, including a vegetable garden, and a few chickens, pig and rabbit. The view from atop their hilltop is breathtaking. Accommodation: Our room was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The elegant decor, comfortable bed, and very spacious bathroom made for a very relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail. The chateau itself is wonderfully and personally decorated by the hosts, with wonderful mixtures of french baroque with African art (from their travels), and other things in between. Our hosts were the most lovely people, and made us feel like they were passionate about us having an incredible stay, which we did. Additionally, their Michelin-star restaurant has excellent value for money, and wonderful wine pairings with lovely food. I so strongly recommend this place with all my heart, and will return as soon as I can! Thank you!

Situated just 41 km from Casino Chaudes Aigues, Le petit château du Villard features accommodation in Le Malzieu Forain with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as free shuttle service. After arriving late due to bad weather, we were welcomed and offered food. We slept well in the big room, the place is fantastic and so historic. Breakfast was delicious and perfect hospitality. Situated in Le Grau-du-Roi in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, Résidence Château Leenhardt - Appartement T2 Face à la Mer has a balcony and sea views. Very quiet. The residence has direct access to the beach. Balcony and sea view. Close to supermarket, not far from port. Good communication for arrival and departure and we even received an iron/ironing board on request.

Located in La Salvetat, 47 km from Lamalou-les-Bains Golf Course, Ranch du Haut-Languedoc provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The ‘off grid’ feel was so comforting… old fashioned good hospitality, home cooked food and friendly family atmosphere made our stay a real pleasure.

Situated in Narbonne, 25 km from Reserve Africaine de Sigean, Château Capitoul features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a garden. Excellent experience: wonderful room, excellent environment and really nice staff. We will repeat for sure!

Château de Montcaud is located in Sabran, in the Provence region. The property is set in the former private residence of a silk trader and is surrounded by five hectares of grounds. The staff, food, and property were beyond amazing. We will be returning to the Château as soon as possible. Room was a great size, pool was calm, and restaurant (bistro/gastro) were nothing but amazing.

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, L'Enquenouille Basse is a country house situated in a historic building in Verdun-en-Lauragais, 46 km from Castres Exhibition Centre. Mette has put a lot of love into restoring this farmhouse into a beautiful B&B, and it was an absolutely refreshing place to stay after a week-plus of more hectic travel in Provence. I very much enjoyed lingering here and chatting with Mette over breakfast and dinner (which you shouldn't miss - all delicious), but it's also a pretty convenient base for going off the beaten path in the Aude to Lac des Cammazes, Lastours and picturesque villages like Saissac and Montolieu. Unbeatable value for money. It's really in the country, on a gravel and dirt track, but I had no issues driving a Fiat 500 here.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Au Château de Villelongue B&B offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The location was absolutely perfect. Beautiful views
