(even Barcelona is not very far away). The house is a gorgeous restored and beautifully decorated cottage, with large windows to view the mountain scenery. Rooms are immaculate clean with a large bathroom. The majority of the rooms have a balcony. Guests are pampered by Toni from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. You will enjoy a perfect breakfast and optional delicious dinner prepared by a professional Chef (Miquel). A unique concept is the large breakfast/dining room table which brings the guests together. This accommodation was far beyond expectation and well deserves a 10/10 thanks to the commitment of its hosts.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a charming atmosphere that made us feel like royalty. Location: The chateau is perfectly situated in the picturesque village of Collias, surrounded by the beautifully curated gardens and territory of the chateau, including a vegetable garden, and a few chickens, pig and rabbit. The view from atop their hilltop is breathtaking. Accommodation: Our room was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. The elegant decor, comfortable bed, and very spacious bathroom made for a very relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail. The chateau itself is wonderfully and personally decorated by the hosts, with wonderful mixtures of french baroque with African art (from their travels), and other things in between. Our hosts were the most lovely people, and made us feel like they were passionate about us having an incredible stay, which we did. Additionally, their Michelin-star restaurant has excellent value for money, and wonderful wine pairings with lovely food. I so strongly recommend this place with all my heart, and will return as soon as I can! Thank you!

This beachfront property offers access to a terrace and free WiFi. Montpellier Arena is 23 km from the apartment and Parc des Expositions de Montpellier is 23 km away. Very quiet. The residence has direct access to the beach. Balcony and sea view. Close to supermarket, not far from port. Good communication for arrival and departure and we even received an iron/ironing board on request.

Château de Montcaud is located in Sabran, in the Provence region. The property is set in the former private residence of a silk trader and is surrounded by five hectares of grounds. After a 2 year renovation the hotel has been fully refurbished and re-opened in June 2018. It features a 24-hour front desk, an outdoor swimming pool, a concierge service and free WiFi. Wonderful staff, exquisite meals (especially the dinners) and an overall serene and lovely place to stay. We would love to come back!

Featuring a garden and views of mountain, L'Enquenouille Basse is a country house situated in a historic building in Verdun-en-Lauragais, 46 km from Castres Exhibition Centre. Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Mette has put a lot of love into restoring this farmhouse into a beautiful B&B, and it was an absolutely refreshing place to stay after a week-plus of more hectic travel in Provence. I very much enjoyed lingering here and chatting with Mette over breakfast and dinner (which you shouldn't miss - all delicious), but it's also a pretty convenient base for going off the beaten path in the Aude to Lac des Cammazes, Lastours and picturesque villages like Saissac and Montolieu. Unbeatable value for money. It's really in the country, on a gravel and dirt track, but I had no issues driving a Fiat 500 here.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and free bikes, Domaine de Palats is located a 20 minutes’ drive from Carcassonne, 25 acres of unspoiled countryside to explore, including gardens and picnic spots. Free WiFi access is available in the houses. We stayed there for 3 nights, and everything was superb! Dinner and breakfast were really good, the room was beautifully decorated. The location is very quiet and relaxing, will definitely be back!
