Located a 1-hour drive from Melbourne, Olinda Country Cottages features 2 stand-alone cottages and 1 apartment-style 2-bedroom suite set in a 130 year-old, 1.5 acre garden. Breakfast was excellent. This was the best place on our road trip. Let's start with Kate and Tom, so friendy and nice people. They greeted us from the car and showed us around. The place is stunning, and you feel that you are sleeping in nature. Lots of kangaroos, kookaburra, and wild birds. Tom arranged for us a great bonfire. because it was Anzac day, we couldn't get marshmallows for the girls, Kate drove to Ararat and came back and surprised the girls with marshmallows. The place is very clean, the rooms and the kitchen. We just loved it ❤️
