Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, garden and views of garden, Eight Acres Lakes Entrance is situated in Lakes Entrance, 36 km from Bairnsdale Train Station. It was lovely. Self-check in so we didn't see any staff at all the whole time. Clean. Very good facilities.

Plantation House at Whitecliffs Bed and Breakfast, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Rye, 300 metres from Rye Beach, less than 1 km from Blairgowrie Beach, as well as 4.3 km from Blairgowrie... The room was big and very comfortable ,The breakfast was the best we had in Australia with a lot of choice and great quality.

Situated in Olinda and only 32 km from Dandenong Train Station, Olinda Country Cottages features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Kathy and Wally are just superb - they emailed us days before our arrival to provide information about the cottage and prepared food for us in the fridge! The cottage is very quaint, well-kept and lovely. The fireplace kept us warm and there were lots of DVDs to watch, such a nostalgic way to spend time with the kids. Feels right at home here!

Clonmara Country House & Cottages offers comfortable and stylish cottages set in 1.5 acres of manicured gardens. The property is fronted by a gorgeous stone cottage dating from 1855. The home was just perfect. Gorgeous location, looking out on farmland with highland cattle in the next field. The cottage was beautifully decorated, cosy and clean. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath with plenty of bath salts etc which was a really nice touch. The fire was on when we got in which we loved! Outside the cottage was adorable too with a swing and a giant chess board. Self- check in was seamless. A detailed folder inside answered any possible query. Amenities were just a 5 minute drive away. We loved the walk out to Port Fairy lighthouse. Overall this cottage was one our favorite spots on our 3 month trip. You must stay here if you're in Port Fairy.

Boasting a garden and views of garden, Red Gables Daylesford - Garden Suite & Hedge Suite is a recently renovated country house set in Daylesford, 45 km from Ballarat Train Station. We loved the room! It was beautifully decorated with a fantastic bathroom. The projector was a great extra feature.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Mia Mia House is situated in Redesdale. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The country house has a flat-screen TV. We love everything about this beautiful cosy accommodation. Attention to details and got everything we needed for. So peaceful, great for getaway if someone looking for a relaxing, rejuvenating accommodation this place is one of the few that will definitely not disappointing. Biggest thanks to host Derek, from the warmth welcoming till the day we have left. Thank you once again and we shall return.

Boasting mountain views, Grampians Park Station offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 26 km from J Ward Museum. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This was the best place on our road trip. Let's start with Kate and Tom, so friendy and nice people. They greeted us from the car and showed us around. The place is stunning, and you feel that you are sleeping in nature. Lots of kangaroos, kookaburra, and wild birds. Tom arranged for us a great bonfire. because it was Anzac day, we couldn't get marshmallows for the girls, Kate drove to Ararat and came back and surprised the girls with marshmallows. The place is very clean, the rooms and the kitchen. We just loved it ❤️
