This is a beautiful property. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable (which can sometimes be hard to find in Europe)! We had stunning views of the river and sat atop the terraces. It was also so quiet! The property itself has been well designed on the interiors and features a beautiful infinity pool nestled within the vineyard. The food was wonderful and the continental breakfast was perfect for what we needed. We got a complimentary wine and port tasting at their tasting room which was a lovely addition. I only wish we had stayed longer!

Spectacular new country home, perched above a small town 15 minutes from Régua, with breathtaking views of the Douro vineyards. Great heated pool and tastefully decorated house. Very friendly owner Patricia, who provided generous Portuguese breakfast and excellent restaurant and sightseeing suggestions.

The location is beautiful and so peaceful. We stayed in a spacious and well-equipped self-catering stone casa. The grounds are extensive and very well maintained. The swimming pool is superb and so quiet and relaxing. The maps provided to us when we checked in were brilliant - we were able to explore the Douro and the Parque Natural do Alvão by car, as well take the riverside walk into the town of Vila Real. We self catered, but we made good use of the "Honesty Shop" at reception for local produce.
Oh it was so much more then imagined. The stay is located in the midst of a small tiny village with only 9 inhabitants. Julia, the owner is the cutest and really making sure to bring so many people together. We had a really unique experience and were able to fully dive into the community live. The location is super good for some hikings and views. also the street until the stay is accesible with a normal car, so no worries about the rental car :) Thanks again Julia, we had a magical time! Away from the town so beautiful and quiet long tree lined drive well lit for return in the dark. Accommodation was in a word luxury! The owners are very friendly and speak good English which is helpful nothing too much trouble. Brilliant thanks so much
This was by far the most fantastic house I have stayed in Portugal. It had such a cute vibe to it. The decoration, the cleanliness and warming appearance made our trip so much better. The owner of this beautiful house was extremely welcoming and very kind to me and my family and she made us feel so special. Thank you Eva for recommending us great places to eat out and local attractions to visit. Location is quiet and so peaceful. Loved everything about this trip.
