The surroundings of the hotel are extraordinary. It reminded me of Bali in the 1990s, before tourism hit the island. Very pristine and simply beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast lounge above the waterfall is exceptional. Breakfast is very good. All staff are amazing, Pamela at breakfast is always smiling, Luis is a gold mine of information and Luisa the owner is a very charming and nice person.

The accommodation was actually a whole house so we had a lot of space + it was the traditional style of house so it was very authentic. Very nice and fast communication with owner. Quiet location.
Check in was easy, code system worked really well. Really nice to have the bread every morning and a couple of local foods (cheese and jams) in the fridge ready for us. Size was perfect for a couple. It is a really quiet and peaceful place. We really enjoyed the ocean view, although note that this is best enjoyed when the weather was warm enough to sit outside as there is only a window from the kitchen to see the view from inside.

If you look for some peaceful nature with a jaw breaking sea view without any humans in sight, this house is made for you. It was a real pleasure coming back to the cosy house after a long day hiking and enjoy the sea with a glass of wine.
David the host was super friendly and welcomed us like his own friends, offered us some local pastries, porto and beers. He gaves us plenty of tips about the area, and was super available.
I will definitely recommend it and come back.
Beautiful spot on the north east corner of S. Miguel. Lovely houses, beautifully renovated and decorated , very modern and not Ikea. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice welcome basket! We definitely recommend it.
Everything was perfect and being thought of. Open kitchen with great views, as well from the bedrooms. Very peaceful place, quiet town except for the sounds of nature and animals. If you love nature and want to get away from the crowds, this casa is the place to be.
The house itself: beautiful, architect-designed space in a wonderful, peaceful location. Spacious, contemporary, super comfortable bed, with a magnificent view over the surrounding countryside and ocean. House had everything we needed for an extended stay.
