There was a lot of information available regarding the region / activities.
Some local products were provided in the kitchen to allow us to make breakfast during our stay, though the option for catered breakfast would have been nice.
There was a pool for common use of the apartments, which we did not use due to weather.

The privacy, location in Nordeste part of the island, huge kitchen, possibility to use the washing machine and the extreme hospitality of the host. We had a bit of a cloudy and rainy weather, but we could envision how wonderful it could be the grill outside and spent time in the garden.

This is probably the best place I stayed in throughout my visit to the Azores (there were 6 places in total).
Fatima is a fantastic host, with a passion for hospitality. She was exceptionally caring and made sure to give me a taste of the local products every breakfast.
The place is located in a nice, quiet village, in a renovated building. The room was very big and nicely decorated (with local flowers) and there was even a nice balcony facing the local greenery.
I would highly recommend this place.

The Casa dos Barcos is located on the shore of Lagoa das Furnas, in São Miguel, 42 km from Ponta Delgada, the main city in the Island. The unit is 5 km from the local village of Furnas.

staff was great, reception went well. very nice snacks left in kitchen and the kitchen was excellently stocked with cooking things, utensils and basic things like napkins, salt and pepper etc. Check in was easy. The location is amazing - right on Lagoa Furnas.

Everything was excellent! A great house, there is everything for a comfortable stay. Clean and comfortable. They really took care of everything. The owner of the house is a very friendly and helpful person. The house is located in a picturesque location. This is exactly my recommendation
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
The house has an exceptional location with a great view of nature and the sea. You are far away from mass tourism and can find peace and quiet. The house is lovingly furnished and everything is very clean. You immediately feel at home. If we had any questions, Maria was always available to answer them in a friendly manner.
Check in was easy, code system worked really well. Really nice to have the bread every morning and a couple of local foods (cheese and jams) in the fridge ready for us. Size was perfect for a couple. It is a really quiet and peaceful place. We really enjoyed the ocean view, although note that this is best enjoyed when the weather was warm enough to sit outside as there is only a window from the kitchen to see the view from inside.
Really peaceful and quiet. Rui was amazing helping with local recommendations and stocking the fridge with eggs, milk and cheese. Perfect place to spent a couple of days.
If you look for some peaceful nature with a jaw breaking sea view without any humans in sight, this house is made for you. It was a real pleasure coming back to the cosy house after a long day hiking and enjoy the sea with a glass of wine.
David the host was super friendly and welcomed us like his own friends, offered us some local pastries, porto and beers. He gaves us plenty of tips about the area, and was super available.
I will definitely recommend it and come back.
Beautiful spot on the north east corner of S. Miguel. Lovely houses, beautifully renovated and decorated , very modern and not Ikea. Peaceful and quiet. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Nice welcome basket! We definitely recommend it.
Everything was perfect and being thought of. Open kitchen with great views, as well from the bedrooms. Very peaceful place, quiet town except for the sounds of nature and animals. If you love nature and want to get away from the crowds, this casa is the place to be.
The house itself: beautiful, architect-designed space in a wonderful, peaceful location. Spacious, contemporary, super comfortable bed, with a magnificent view over the surrounding countryside and ocean. House had everything we needed for an extended stay.

The bungalow is recently built with all comfort and the host is very responsive, friendly and ready to accommodate all your wishes. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing retreat.
