Place is better than the photos, we traveled as a family, there were 7 of us and we always felt there was plenty of space for everyone. All the bedrooms have an en suite, and there is an extra bathroom downstairs, also 2 o the bedrooms have large outdoor terraces which were great for sitting outside. Kitchen was well equipped and an barbecue is also provided.
We have to mention Flora who was there to welcome us, what and polite and informative host! We look forward to going back to stay at some point!

The house is spacious and full of natural light.
Even though we visited in winter, the house was warm and cozy, thanks to the two air conditioning units that provided excellent heating. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. Upon my request, he kindly provided slippers for the house, which was a thoughtful and much-appreciated touch.
A special highlight of our stay was the delicious homemade cake prepared for us by the owner’s wife – it was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome!
The house itself is impeccably clean and fully equipped with everything you need, including a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable living spaces.
The location is fantastic, surrounded by stunning nature and close to hiking trails. The views from the windows were spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset.
I would highly recommend this house for anyone looking to explore northern Portugal while enjoying the comfort and hospitality that make you feel right at home. A big thank you to the owners for their exceptional kindness and attention to detail!

- The staff members at the reception were immensely helpful - special kudos to the gentleman who provided us with a map and relevant information.

- In the evenings, the church bells were silenced for a peaceful atmosphere.
The apartment was ok, if a bit dated in its decor. The view across the valley was beautiful. The area was very quiet and peaceful, if a bit remote and accessed by a narrow single-lane road. We slept with windows wide open, which was nice. The pool area, terrace and gardens were well kept and tidy. The sun shines directly in the apartment in the morning -- a lovely way to wake up.
We loved the surroundings, right in the middle of the Gerês nature and picturesque scenery. Very quiet area with only a few houses around. Extremely peaceful.
The room was comfortable and spacious with a lovely little patio. Beautiful breakfast room with views (but no cooked breakfast). Staff were helpful with questions etc. Not a luxury hotel but great for a walking holiday, very peaceful and excellent value for money.
Nice hotel in a quiet street, very close to the centre of Vila Geres. The beds are very comfortable. This hotel is a 2 star hotel, but it deserves to be a 3 star hotel.
