The views were excellent, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was good!
We could park right outside, it was walking distance to ella rock and the hosts allowed us to keep the bags there while we hiked and came back.
The welcome juice with the lovely scenery was also great!

We stayed with Meena Amma for three short days, and wished we had longer. Meena’s hospitality is note perfect, and her traditional Sri Lankan meals the best we have enjoyed in our time on the island. The setting of the two line rooms is stunning, from the beautiful sunrises to the peaceful evenings in the valley. Really nice homestay!! Great location! It’s downtown Ella but away from the main road in the nature so it’s quiet and peaceful! 3 min walking to the main road by the shortcut.The garden and patio are beautiful. Breakfast is really good and big! The owner and his wife are so welcoming and generous, always ready to help and making sure we have everything we need. I recommend this homestay!
The location was perfect, nestled quietly and peacefully in the forest, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. One of the standout features was the beautiful breakfast served on the balcony, allowing us to immerse ourselves in nature while enjoying a delicious meal. The tranquil surroundings made for a truly relaxing experience.
The family at Pasan Guesthouse were friendly, attending to our needs (organising tuk tuk driver, places to go etc) and especially made us feel at home. Easy walk into town (I'm 66) yet a quiet peaceful place to stay with a private verandah and garden to stop and look at the mountain view.
The staff are kind and helpful, the spacious room with lots of natural light, the view from the room and peacefulness. The hotel is closed to the stating point to Ella Rock hiking. the breakfast was generous but they only have instant coffee and all the fruit juices are too sweet.
Big comfy and clean rooms with an extra large bed. Good breakfast included.
The location is perfect, in a quiet street but next to almost the restaurants and the hiking points.
Beautiful land and view of rice fields. Stunning interior, so peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend and would love to come back and stay longer. Food was insanely good!
