We had a private room with bathroom and everything was very nice and clean. The owners were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable.
The host even made homemade brown bread for us to have with our coffee in the morning! That was an added treat.
Would definitely stay here again.
The location was a bit further than we expected, however it made for a very pleasant and quite night.
The host did have lists of points of interest nearby, such as waterfalls and look out points. So this is a very good spot for hidden gems.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes located in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, like trekking, bird watching, and cycling.
The hotel is bright. The location is peaceful. It is very relaxing. Whilst you are in the countryside, Sligo city centre and lovely coastal places like Strandhill and Rosses Point are within a 10-15 minute drive away. Breakfast was also a highlight, delicious perfectly cooked food.
Old world style, peaceful and quite,Robert greeted me when I arrived, offered tea or coffee,he is an excellent host ,nothing too much trouble to him, very good breakfast and plenty chat.Iwould recommend the house to any person that loves peace and quiet, lovely walk to beach, will be back
This was my favourite place to stay so far in Ireland. The views were amazing, the bed was comfortable, the hosts were welcoming and the whole place was peaceful and quiet.
The house was located out in the countryside and extremely quiet and peaceful. Beautiful surroundings.
