Everything. We had a great welcome from our hosts and nothing was a bother for them. Lovely place to stay and wish we had booked for two nights. Can’t praise this place and the people enough. We loved it there and would not hesitate to go back. Breakfast was excellent. The scenery and the village was beautiful.

We took a detour to have a quiet accomodation on our journey to Portugal. The place is superb with a wonderful view. Our room overlooked neighbours garden and had a small balcony.
We appreciated free buffet breakfast, although coffee was instant, not a real one :)

A beautiful small hotel . Hidden in the town. A real jewel and a short walk from restaurants and pubs. The landlady owner was a lovely lady that was really helpful. I’m staying there again.

The location was very nice. There were good restaurant around. Lovely nature sights such The Devil Cave/gorge that was just amazing! We had a lovely family day walking by the river after. the landlord did recommend us all the places to visit. We would love to comeback. Our room had a ensuite toilet and was clean and confortable.
We used the kitchen and it had all necessary to cook and have a good cooked breakfast.

We were able to check in late which was good for us since we arrived late to Santander. The hosts were very kind and helpful. The place was very Homely.
The top choice for people wanting to get away from noise and fast-paced city life. Country houses are private homes based in the peaceful countryside, with communal facilities and meals available. Activities to unwind can be included too, such as trekking, birdwatching and cycling.
Nice quiet Hideaway near the mountains, some beautiful scenery in this area to explore. You will need a car, a bicycle or get to know the bus routes to enjoy your stay.
It was ideal for our one-night stay, and very easy to access the town centre and ferry port (15 minutes by car). Getting into the property was difficult due to the automatic entry system not working, and a language barrier with the proprietor - but when we did get in, we were happy with the modern, air-conditioned apartment with integral garage, big enough to take our estate car with roof box and rear cycle-carrier. Very quiet and secure.
