Really beautiful and quit spot, we felt immediately comfortable. They have small garden with seating options, the chicken sometimes walk around and a garden is attached to the garden. The room and bathroom were clean. The family who runs it is really nice and courteous and the dinner and breakfast they prepared for us was delicious. They also gave us helpful advice for our hiking tour.
Second year in a row at Lord Byron, this time with our daughter and her boyfriend. Another wonderful stay, living as part of the family hospitality even more than staying at a hotel. Excellent cooking for all meals, quiet lodging in comfortable rooms, the pool and the river for swimming, and within reach of many interesting attractions.
The hotel did not disappoint!!!!

The drive to the hotel is well signposted and although sometimes single track, is tarmac the entire way.
Wonderful food on offer in the evening and although there was not a lot of choice at breakfast, it was so tasty!!
Local wine is lovely, waiters and waitresses were young but so kind and attentive.
So peaceful and the pool was lovely!

We had a lovely stay at Guesthouse Lord Byron! The hosts are very helpful and friendly. The views from the guest house are fantastic and the rooms are very spacious, modern and clean. They also serve great local food & wine. The guest house is based on a big property that is very quiet.
If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here, but you will find fantastic breakfasts and dinners, a friendly homely atmosphere and a feeling that nothing is a problem.
The food was great - especially the breakfasts and the homemade cheese from their farm - and the staff were lovely. The view over the mountains is amazing. It was a beautiful peaceful retreat and was very quiet when we were there.
A place with one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. Very quiet and peaceful place. Excellent service, and the food was very tasty. Also the rooms were very clean and nicely decorated .I highly recommend it .
