La Quinta De La Rosa és un allotjament de propietat familiar situat en una finca vinícola, a la riba dreta del riu Duero, a 2 km de Pinhão. The Location was very convenient for travellers by train. The views are fantastic. The owners are very friendly and chatty about their properties.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Thank you to the whole family for making our stay a unique and wonderful one. David could not do enough for us. We loved Maria, such a lovely lady. Miguel, the owner, host and chef is a warm, generous man. The girls were also lovely, ensuring our enjoyment, comfort and safety (my husband is disabled and I have some current injuries that affect my mobility). Evenings with a delicious meal and good wines/ports from the estate were unique. There a are so few places that offer the opportunity to sit at a large family table and talk with your fellow travellers from all over the world while enjoying home cooked goodness. The views of the Douro from high on the mountain top were stunning. Thank you everyone for a most wonderful stay. This family understands hospitality in a big way and I highly recommend a visit if in the alto Douro.

Breakfast was plenty and healthy. The estate is beautifully managed, maintained, the view is incredible.

A charming property with lovely history. The room was comfortable and spacious, the grounds were surrounded by beautiful vineyards, the pool has a stunning view over the many vineyard covered rolling hills. The staff were extremely helpful with any and everything - reservations, recommendations, wineries to visit, taxis, etc. The service was above and beyond! We really enjoyed having a bottle of wine and charcuterie board while relaxing by the pool. The breakfast was also very delicious and beautifully set up. It was an absolutely perfect stay, and my husband and I can’t wait to return!

Located in Peso da Régua and only 3.1 km from Douro Museum, Casa de Sergude provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Awesome view, friendly local vibe, property was super clean. Great recommendation from the owner on a tour guide.

Set in Vila Nova de Foz Coa and only 18 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, Eira da Fraga offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. We loved everything about staying here, the breakfasts, the pool, the beautiful building and decorations but most of all the location being so remote and peaceful. We would definitely recommend staying here and would have liked to stay longer.

Situated within 32 km of Mirandela Medieval Bridge in Alfândega da Fé, Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing features accommodation with seating area. The property has mountain views. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
